It cleans the salt off my dogs’ paws so easily. When it’s super dirty and the streets are covered in salt, I’ll refresh the water supply. I add a few drops of their doggie shampoo, and it works great. Don’t believe the negative reviews. I don’t see how they can possibly not know how to use this gadget. It is so easy to use. And the pictures of the German Shepherds and their mess, I find it impossible that this gadget could possibly create that mess. I guess if they are covered in thick mud, then they have to be hosed down, and this product is not a replacement for a bath.I have four dogs in NYC. I have to wash their feet after every walk because the streets are so filthy. It would take me about 10-15 min to clean their paws with a spray bottle and towel. Now, it takes about 5 minutes. And the towel doesn’t end up filthy. The dirt gets caught in the cup. Plus the dogs seem to like it. The silicone bristles must feel good. A huge thumbs up!UPDATE: Tonight was an exceptionally dirty evening here in NYC. There was a short bit of rain that made the streets filthy. This little gadget made the clean up a breeze! And the dogs love it! Attaching pics and videos.

  2. Good product -> TIP for dog lovers

I use this cleaner after long walks with my dogs, as they love to get dirty. It’s easy to use and does the job well. When the paws dry up I put Paw Shield by Petsupply on them. This paw balm heals and moisturizes dry, creacked paw pads. It also does a very good job when it comes to paw protection. It’s perfect way to take care of you dog’s paws during the winter. Here is the link to Paw Shield: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DFPJ1NC

  3. Amazing product

Best. Thing. Ever. This product works like a charm. It gets the sand from between their pads, and is gentle enough that even my most stubborn pup tolerates it!I have a terrier/schnauzer that likes to dig, a mini golden doodle that is prissy about her paws and a standard labradoodle puppy that is still very fuzzy. We have a farm where it is extremely sandy and we stay in a travel trailer. The amount of sand they were tracking in to the camper was driving me CRAZY. It takes me three minutes to clean and dry off all of their paws. Seriously the best purchase I have made!I’m adding a photo of my labradoodle pup so you can see the texture of her fur. Imagine it covered in morning dew and damp sand 😖

  4. Worth every penny

It works for both dirty water/splattered kind of mud, and the thick stuff that is stuck between the toes. In fact it works really good for the thick stuff because the bristles get in between and scoop it out. You do have to change the water very often; when its really thick, you have to change it before you finish all four paws but it still beats spending ten minutes with three different rags and towels trying to scoop it out.You can see in my video how simple it is, but you’ll notice the sides aren’t quite high enough to get all the way up on my dogs leg. Mainly because she went for a run through a pond and the mud is half way up her leg (but leg cleaning isn’t the point of this washer.) The towel can still get that stuff, but cleaning out the paws is the real trick. When you’re done, the paws are soaked with water and I squeeze them and then dry them with a towel that we keep by the back door.Changing the water is as simple as rinsing it out a couple times and filling it back up. You can screw off the top, remove the bristles, unroll them and clean everything, but I have found that isn’t necessary. It fits together just right so a couple of quick rinses and the dirt all flows out.

  5. The large size, is bigger than a water bottle and seems sturdy

Haven’t used it yet but wanted to posted photos to help people see the size of the large cup and the information from it if needed. I think it’s more helpful then just dogs photos. I’ll update after next mud adventure.

  6. Finally a paw washer that works!

Wow wow…I love this! I have purchased several paw washers, as well as used a dishpan…my dogs hated it. They would run when they saw the dishpan. We had the yard fenced in so they could play, but they run in the yard like horses (4 boxers) and they have worn the grass away and we have had a ton of rain so the yard is very messy…but alas you can’t keep a boxer in all the time. I ordered this and I must the job is sooooo easy to wash their feet now. They seem to shy away until they see I am just dipping their feet and the bristles are soft. The only drawback is with 4 dogs I need to change the water a couple of times, but this is still by the far the BEST paw washer I have used. I am going to order a spare so I won’t have to change the water so often…maybe eventually everyone will have their own and I won’t have to change water…I ordered the medium and it works perfectly on their paws. Really like the soft bristles that gently clean their feet. Only draw back is the price…I think the medium could be a few dollars cheaper, but I still bought it. LOL I work with a boxer rescue and will be sure to tell all my friends about this paw washer. I also like that it will be easy to travel with on vacation!

  7. BEST MONEY SPENT

I have Been looking for a paw washer as our great dane has very bad allergies. After countless hours looking and reviewing I went with this. I could not be more pleased It fits our 133lbs great danes paw with room left over. The quality it’s great not cheap or flimsy and love the pink color. This is a MUST for dog paws

  8. This was made for messy dogs!

We have a dalmatian who likes to dig in the red dirt in our backyard and come back into our white decorated house, talk about a mess. Before to clean her off it was usually a team effort, one to hold her and one to run back and forth from the kitchen with wet paper towels, but with this it was so easy to clean her by myself! I only wish it was taller for her because she gets in the holes and her front legs are entirely orange, but with this I can at least get her feet clean so that I can walk her to the bathtub or kitchen to finish up her legs. I would recommend this to anyone who has a pup with constantly dirty paws. One thing I would also recommend is to get the dog used to it when their feet aren’t dirty; we did it a couple times when her feet were clean so that when we really needed it she wasn’t freaking out and she was used to it. The first time we did it with clean paws she was freaking out and spilled the water everywhere…

  9. Product works as described. Check out the size chart in the description.

This product measures true to size. I have a black lab mix and I got the large blue paw cleaner. I didn’t notice the size chart listed in the description. I probably could have gotten away with the medium, but it is nice that the large cleans a little higher on her feet. Overall, the product works as shown. It is easy to clean and use. It isn’t quite as portable as I wanted because of the size, but once we pack all of her toys up to play adding this doesn’t seem to make a big difference. It’s great to use before coming in the house or getting in the truck cab on a rainy day.

  10. Really helps to get the mud off his paws!!

Last winter our dog brought most of the back yard into the house with him whenever it rained. We got Soggy Doggy Productions Soggy Doggy Pet Door Mat, Dark Chocolate for each door, and they helped a lot, but we still ended up with dirty paw prints all over the house, even after wiping his paws with a towel. This winter we tried this paw cleaner and we love it! It doesn’t get all of the dirt out of his paws, but the amount of dirt he brings in is noticeably much less. He doesn’t like it, but he tolerates it quite well. Our dog is mostly labrador with largish paws, but after measuring and reading reviews we got the medium, and it’s just right for him. It’s also very easy to clean. We keep it filled with warm water by the back door so it’s ready whenever he comes in.

  11. Recommend

Amazing. Recommending it to all my dog lovers. I have a pitbull and ordered a large. Wish I would have ordered the medium but still works out well. He HATES his paws messed with but he tolerated me cleaning them with this.

  12. Best pet supply item I’ve bought

I am a clean freak that also has a 90lb 1.5 year old Golden Retriever who enjoys digging multiple holes in my yard, especially when the ground is wet. This thing is the best 23 bucks I’ve ever spent, because it helps me keep my sanity. I call my dog to the door and see his paws are black, tell him to stay, squirt a pump of soap and fill this thing with hot water, grab a towel, and go to town. I stick his paws in, dry them off with a towel, and boom! No muddy paw prints through my house. Finn doesn’t mind having his feet cleaned, Mom doesn’t go crazy, and Dad is happy that Mom isn’t pissed. Everybody wins.

  13. Does the job, even though it looks like an Alien Fleshlight.

Works as described. The key is how comfortable your dogs are with you sticking their paws into this contraption. We have 2 small dogs – one doesn’t mind the task of cleaning, and the other is not a fan of this. But the contraption itself works really well. Just try to avoid the urge to stick your junk inside of it.

  14. Great Dane Game Changer

I have to admit that I was skeptical… but this is worth EVERY PENNY and more! Our Great Dane’s paws would track in huge amounts of dirt/mud, and wiping them down with a towel was never good enough. This is definitely big enough for his huge feet, and he doesn’t even fight it. I wonder if it feels good on his paws? The fact that the rubber ‘bristles’ are removable for cleaning out afterwards is an awesome bonus, too. You can actually see all the dirt it’s cleaning off.I saw a similar product that popped up on my Facebook feed, but it was much more expensive, and I’m not even sure if the insides are removable on that one. When I shopped around on Amazon I found this product and I’m SO glad I did. My husband loves it, too. I’m sure it will also come in handy when we take our dogs RV-ing!! Thanks for a great product!!!!

  15. Amazing Paw Cleaner!!

My Border Collie developed red welts on the tops of his paws in August. My vet thought that it was possibly caused by an allergic reaction to something in the grass and told me that I should wash his paws after he had been in the grass. He was put on an allergy medication which helped with the itching/scratching but his paws still looked terrible. I used an old ice cream bucket and washed his feet after all of our play times in the yard and after walks. This was quite a pain to do. Come September his feet still looked awful. I decided to buy the Dexas MudBuster Portable Dog Paw Cleaner because I thought it would be easier to wash his feet. It was so much easier to wash his feet but what I wasn’t expecting was how much better his feet now look. After about three days of using the MudBuster the welts are very minimal.

  16. Well-made and works great!

I looked at a few versions of this item before deciding on the Dexas MudBuster- It looked the most robust of the options- and I am incredibly happy with my purchase. I have a morkie (half Maltese, half Yorkshire), and his paws get irritated from the winter salt, as well as muddy. The small size works like a charm. When I received the item, I thought it looked absolutely HUGE, but to my surprise, it works wonderfully. The outside plastic has a slight grippy texture making it easy to hold even if it gets wet from an unruly paw, and the top piece that holds the internal rubber spikey mat unscrews easily, and both pieces are well-threaded. The internal mat is easy to remove and clean and place back inside, and the entire device is sturdy, well-made, and easy to clean. And it works!

  17. Brilliant idea. Great item for dog owners.

This is one of this products where you realize someone should have thought it up before but didn’t.Dogs get dirty paws and really either dragging around a moist towel or whatever else to clean the paws is a pain. Enter this thing. This is a plastic bottle with a silicon insert with finger bristles meant to contain some water and clean the paws. How does it work?: You simply Put the dog’s paws (one at a time) into the container and scrub or push up and down and get those dirty paws clean so the dog can enter the house and not ring sand, dirt or whatever. The insert can be pulled out after opening the container and cleaned and dried (brilliant) to use again.Which size?: Well, I have a 70 pound dog and the medium is plenty big so let that be a guide. Large would definitely be for a large beast.Overall: Loved this from the first moment I pulled it out and tried it out. Works well, solves a problem with ease and it is a neat little idea well executed. Definitely recommended.

  18. Actually works

I’ve read some reviews that say this is messier than a bowl of water. – Um. No.Ever have your dog kick/knock/stomp your bowl of water over? This doesn’t happen with the Mudbuster. My yard has a lot of trees, and because we live in the desert, the trees prevent any sort of grass from growing, which creates a clay-like mud bath every time the sky so much as sneezes. My dogs get muddy up to the elbow.I have 3 dogs; Great Dane mix, Australian shepherd mix (spastic freak who ALWAYS knocks the bowls over), and a Boston terrier. I bring one in at a time and have them stand on a towel. I then do a “foot check”, which is a term I’ve taught them since they were puppies, as I live in the desert and they are always picking up stickers on hikes. I say “foot check” before lifting each foot and giving it a one-two swish in the mudbuster. After all four feet have been rinsed I then just towel them off, because they’re already standing on the towel. Any slop is immediately picked up in the process. I then let the second dog in and repeat. By the time I get to the tiny dog the towel is damp enough to just wipe her feet since the mudbuster I have is the biggest one I could find. Once they’re all done I just dump the water out the back door and toss the towel on a hook to dry. Rinse the mudbuster in the sink real quick, and we’re done. It has cut the mud in my house by 99%.I don’t know how I lived without this! Worth every penny!

  19. The Struggle is OVER!

I volunteer and foster for dog rescue, and we have 8 big dogs of our own, and usually 1 or 2 foster dogs at any given time. Couple that with the fact our backyard has a lot of trees with shade all day long, and grass is pretty much non-existent. Therefore, we have lots of bare patches that get muddy after a rain. We had been washing off our dogs’ muddy paws after they went out back in a tub of water – but, the difficulty there was getting the dogs to willingly place their paws down in the tub.The beauty of this product is that instead of trying to get the dog to put his or her paw into a tub of water, you instead lift the water up to the paw. Couple that with the very soft, yet effective, silicone bristles, and our dogs no longer struggle against us while washing their paws. For that reason alone, this product is a godsend. highly recommended!

  20. Perfect easy solution to the muddy paw

My wife’s Yorki always liked to follow our golden into the mug. Being that Yorkis fur is more like hair it was a nightmare to clean. The Mudbuster was the perfect solution! Really this has became a lifesaver and it’s way to easy to use. We got the small size for the Yorki and fits his paw perfectly. The rubber is soft and easy on the paws. The water is easy to change out and of course it’s easy to clean after. This has been a life saver with the Yorki and of course we got a bigger one for the Golden because she thinks mug is her best friend. What’s also nice it’s small enough you can take camping with you so you can clean your dogs paws before they go into the tent with you.I highly recommend this product!
